The Fair

We went to the Northeast Alabama State Fair on Labor Day.

We heard it was awesome, amazing... so we went.
I would like someone from the Fair committee to explain to me how they can call it a Fair... let alone a State Fair.  It was a sad excuse for anything.  It had a small petting zoo and a midway... no booths, no vendors, no 4-H, and hardly any animals.  I would love to buy people a plane ticket and send them to my Fair one day.  Everyone should experience a REAL fair.
(Especially one that doesn't charge 20.00 per family to get in.)

Regardless that the fair was NOT a fair, our kids had fun walking around, going on a ride, and enjoyed being out with friends.

Kamden got to ride his first real ride and JC tried his luck trying to break a wine bottle for a hundred dollars.  We watched guy after guy hand over money to try it out and miss - JC actually hit it (nailed it, right on) after a couple tries, but of course those games are rigged and the bottle was probably plastic...

Kamden's expressions were priceless.  Zenock was too excited and embarrassed to look at the camera...
